The notion of values is one often spoken about, but when explored at a deeper level leaves us wondering what they actually mean and how they are brought to life in any part of our life, whether it be personally or professionally.

Values can be seen as what a person stands for and is evident in what they think, what they say and what they do. If there is a gap between what a person believes they stand for, and how they think, talk and act, then there will be inner disharmony and inner conflict in how they relate with those around them.

In order to bridge the gap that is causing this disharmony it is important to understand what our values are, put a name to them, and then identify how they are working in our lives. When we understand how a value is brought forth in our lives, we will probably see that there is a gap between the value and how we bring that value to life. It is this gap that causes a feeling of disharmony within us. The way we can address this disharmony is understand what is to be done to reduce it by bringing about changes in what we think, talk and act to feel that our place in the world is far more 'right' or harmonious.

Personal Harmony Values is an assessment tool that can provide the insight into how harmoniously your are living 11 core values within yourself and your environment. The 11 values are:

  • Confronting negative patterns,

  • Personal growth,

  • Equality,

  • Accountability,

  • Non-judgement,

  • Sharing our energy,

  • Ego (how much or how little),

  • Fear (how much or how little),

  • Honesty,

  • Choice,

  • Self Belief.

On Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April I’m running a Level 1 Personal Harmony Values Group workshop where we will explore how you harmoniously these 11 values are working in your life, and identify what is important for each participant to focus on order to bring more harmony and contentment to their life.
